High-Protein Blueberry Ice Cream Recipe
This high-protein blueberry ice cream recipe uses five simple ingredients and only takes ten minutes to make. It does require patience though because you need roughly 90 minutes of chill time. While the recipe is for two servings, you can double or triple it to make more.
If there is one question that I have been asked numerous times throughout all the years I’ve been coaching it is this – “What are some healthy snack ideas?” If you enjoy ice cream as much as I do, here is a fantastic healthy snack idea.
And if you are concerned about feeding your child(ren) foods with whey protein, you can omit it altogether. It will change the consistency but mixing a bit of cornstarch with milk can fix that.
Also, if you want to reduce the fat use a low-fat cottage cheese. Note that low-fat cottage cheese tends to be dryer, but you can add a tablespoon of Greek or plain yogurt or even a bit of milk to get the desired consistency.
High-Protein Blueberry Ice Cream Ingredient Substitutions
